Book Review: MASQUERADE

Title: Masquerade (Blue Bloods Book 2)
Author: Melissa De La Cruz
Rating: 4/5
Good if...you want another Vampire series.

Summary (Amazon):
Schuyler Van Alen wants an explanation for the mysterious deaths of young vampires. With her best friend, Oliver, Schuyler travels to Italy in the hope of finding the one man who can help--her grandfather. Meanwhile, back in New York, preparations are feverishly underway for the Four Hundred Ball, an exclusive gala hosted by the city's wealthy, powerful, and unhuman--a true Blue Blood affair.
But it's at the after-party, a masquerade ball thrown by the cunning Mimi Force, that the real danger lurks. Hidden behind the masks is a revelation that will forever change the course of a young vampire's destiny.

My thoughts...
As the second in the Blue Bloods Series, I enjoyed Masquerade just as much as the first novel.  It picked up right where Blue Bloods left off and it could have easily been a continuation of that book.  My thoughts on book 2 are pretty much the same as on book 1.  So, I figure I won't repeat myself.  But the main message I wanted to get across is that if you're looking for something Vampire this serious isn't half bad.  (Link to Review on Blue Bloods, book 1)
