Amazon.com and Penguin Group Announce Third Annual Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Competition
I just found out about this contest yesterday. (I wish I would have know sooner. My own novel probably won't be done by then.) They will be accepting full manuscripts from un-published authors for a chance to win a publishing deal. There will be one regular fiction winner and one young adult winner. Each winner will receive a publishing contract with Penguin, which includes a $15,000 advance. Manuscripts can be submitted Jan. 25 - Feb. 7. This is a chance for you to submit your own novel!
