Hi all! So today marks day one of the
50,000 Words in 50 Days Challenge. I woke up early this morning and finished my 1K of words pretty quickly. Although, I had planned to continue working on my current project and when I woke up this morning I started something new. (As if I don't already have enough projects going.) Anyway. How was everyone else's first day?

I have just finished my 1,000 words as well. I didn't know what I wanted to work on all morning and then in the afternoon it hit me. I started on the next novel in my series. Not sure it was the best idea, but it's what I felt like writing.
I don't know how many words I wrote, but I did sit down first thing after breakfast and start writing. Then worked a bit on the outline and where I want to go with the story. I'm truly getting the urge to work on a new story. Don't know how that's going to work out. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement to write. Good going on hitting 1000 words today. :)
It was easier than I dreaded. It only took me 20 minutes - I thought it would take me at least an hour, and I wasn't even inspired by anything. So I'm happy with that!
This first thousand was pretty easy. I know it'll get harder as it goes (we all know motivation fluctuates). It's good to hear that everyone's hitting their goals!
I actually wrote 1301 words despite the constant distractions from my children. I'm being very optomistic that I can keep up the pace and completel all 50 days like I did today.
woo-hoo! What a great start!!
