Waiting On Wednesday

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine

Isn't the cover on this one incredible!  It's so pretty and it sounds like it could be a good one...
Halo by Alexandra Adornetto
Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.  Is love a great enough power against evil?
Release Date: August 31st

And I just recently discovered this next one, but I'm so excited about it...
Nevermore by Kelly Creigh
Cheerleader Isobel Lanley is horrified when she is paired with Varen Nethers for an English project, which is due—so unfair—on the day of the rival game. Cold and aloof, sardonic and sharp-tongued, Varen makes it clear he’d rather not have anything to do with her either. But when Isobel discovers strange writing in his journal, she can’t help but give this enigmatic boy with the piercing eyes another look.  Soon, Isobel finds herself making excuses to be with Varen. Steadily pulled away from her friends and her possessive boyfriend, Isobel ventures deeper and deeper into the dream world Varen has created through the pages of his notebook, a realm where the terrifying stories of Edgar Allan Poe come to life.  As her world begins to unravel around her, Isobel discovers that dreams, like words, hold more power than she ever imagined, and that the most frightening realities are those of the mind. Now she must find a way to reach Varen before he is consumed by the shadows of his own nightmares.  His life depends on it.
Release Date: August 31st

Great picks! I'm about to start Halo, and I'm very excited about it. It looks fantastic!

And thank you for checking out my review of Twenty Boy Summer :) It's pretty, no actually very sad at the beginning, but it actually makes the story better! The sorrow she feels at the start plays a big role towards the middle, when the story gets really juicy... I don't want to give away too much, but you should definitely pick it up again. It's worth it! :D
