Wannabe Writers #63 (Finishing)

Wannabe Writers is my Internet writing group. My posts consist of my current writing progress, my problems, and any questions I need help answering. If you've created a similar post of your own, feel free to link in the comments.

Where I am in the writing process: Unpublished and unfinished, but hopefully that's about to change.  (At least the latter of the two.)

My current problem(s): I'm at 67K, I'm wrapping up the climax, entering the resolution faze, and very nearly finished writing my novel!  YAY!  Ending a book has got to be the hardest part in the first-draft writing process.  I guess by the end you just grow tired of the story and desperately want to hold a finished copy in your hands.  You grow antsy and tempted to take the easy ways out.  Like just killing all your characters off.

My question for today: How to finish a novel?  A broad question but if you have any advice for the end, let me know please.  :)

This is exciting! I'm not sure how to finish a novel just yet. I'm still mulling some ideas over myself. I guess it depends on whether you're going to continue the book or not. That's one factor. Or if you want some finality to it. :)
