Books I'm Thankful For...

Beth Revis is hosting one giant give away this month! I normally don't get too excited about giveaways, but 19 signed books...worth checking out!  Click below to find out more.

The series that I'm most grateful for would be THE TWILIGHT SAGA by Stephenie Meyer.
Why? Maybe these aren't the best books in the world, but to me they were still some of the most entertaining books I ever read.  I was lucky enough to read them just before the movies and before they became so popular.  And uninfluenced I loved them.  Now that I'm more well read, I see what others don't like it them, but I'm still so grateful Stephenie Meyer wrote them.  They got me big into reading again, especially into young-adult.  And not only that...they kind of inspired me to start writing.

What books are you most grateful for?

Hi, Sarah! :)

I agree with you completely about the Twilight Saga -- they're such amazing books! I'll admit I liked them better before all the Twilight-movie hype, but I've never stopped thinking of them as five-star books and I've never regretted picking them up! They were what got me into reading YA too, and were the first books to really inspire me to write as well!

If I had to choose, I think I'd have to pick this series too! Thank you so much for sharing, Sarah! :)

I loved reading about your experience. I will admit that the series was not my cup of tea, but I appreciate what it has done for the YA market and for readers everywhere. Great choice!

I picked Twilight as well must say I prefer these book covers than the blacks ones

kate2440--I was in Ireland last year and found these. Cool, huh. I bought the Twilight copy and gave it to my sister for x-mas. The edges of the pages have been dipped in red...they're very pretty. They'd probably sell very well in the US.

Mimi--We think alike.

Jennifer--Without Twilight I don't think I would have gotten into blogging either.

Molly--Thanks...yeah it got me back into reading too.

I only read Twilight after the movies came out but I enjoyed them. The vampires may be sparkly but I liked them anyway. Great choice. Plus I too like the white covers.

I'm thankful for TWILIGHT SAGA Too! Because of this series, I became an avid reader of YA novels =) If not because of Twilight, I won't be in the book blog-o-sphere right now. =)

Thank you for your visit on my IMM post =)
Have lovely week!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I am a new follower as well. I love the Twilight series and the books are the reason why I am so passionate about reading now. I do see the flaws in them now as I go back to reread them but I think that those flaws are a part of the reason why I love them so much still.

They were great reads for a big fiction phenom! I do get why people didn't enjoy them, but I notice a lot of the haters judge it more because of the movies and don't take the books as a fun fictional escape.

Thanks for checking out my post!
