Wannabe Writers #67 (Cover Art)

Wannabe Writers is my weekly writing updates. My posts consist of my weekly writing progress, my problems, and any questions I need help answering.

Where I am in the writing process: I've been tackling this writing thing for three years this month!!  I'm currently thinking about starting a new novel, but the thought of all that work sounds pretty overwhelming.

My current problem(s): Not really sure what to do next.  Should I start something new?  Or try to perfect one of my old projects?  Or maybe it's about time for a little break from writing all together.

Something I'm still considering is e-publishing the novel I recently finished.  I still need to edit it and revise it some, but it's getting there.  I know nothing about e-publishing.  Any advise?

My question for today: Anyone know a place to get cover-art done?

Do you ever go to Kindleboards, in the Writer's Cafe sub-board? If you ask your cover question there, no doubt you'll get several replies. Often, a cover artist will post with some covers they are discounting.

Oh man, there are so many places to read about e-publishing... Check out Smashwords for some information. They can help get your book available for multiple e-readers. There's FAQ's and more. http://www.smashwords.com/about/how_to_publish_on_smashwords They have a free e-book available for formatting to e-publish: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/52 There's also a e-book marketing guide available for free: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/305

Also check out Barnes & Noble and Amazon for their e-book publishing information. BN: http://pubit.barnesandnoble.com/pubit_app/bn?t=support Amazon: https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/help
